Sapna's Journey
Returning to School
Sapna, a teenage girl from Charkhari block, had discontinued her education due to increasing household responsibilities and limited family support. Like many girls in her village, her schooling was deprioritized as daily survival pressures grew.
Through regular interaction with the Azadi Adolescent Group, Lokpath's field team created a safe space for dialogue, rebuilt her confidence, and gradually involved her family in conversations around education, health, and future aspirations. Continuous counselling and school coordination helped address practical and social barriers to re-enrolment.
